O Congreso dos Deputados aprobou este mércores na súa Comisión de Fomento a iniciativa da deputada de En Marea, Alexandra Fernández, sobre o regulamento do radón no Código Técnico da Edificación.

Fernández sinalou na súa intervención que o Colexio de Xeólogos/as leva tempo advertindo da necesidade de desenvolver unha normativa concreta para informar e concienciar á poboación sobre os riscos do radón.

“Insistiron en moitas ocasións na necesidade de adoptar medidas preventivas a partir dos 100 becquerelios por metro cúbico. Desde diferentes universidades, entre elas a de Compostela tamén está reclamando esta normativa. De feito o Goberno chegou a crear un comité con expertos de universidades e científicos, que polo que sabemos está completamente paralizado porque o Goberno decidiu cruzarse de brazos”, denunciou a parlamentar.

O Goberno “non lexislou nada nin avanzou nas medidas que xa este mes obriga á directiva comunitaria”.

En Marea considera que esta normativa “non custa nada sacala adiante” pero é unha “falta de vontade política”.

“Propoñemos lexislar canto antes as normas para a protección fronte ao radón tanto en edificios de nova construción como nos xa existentes, a fin de incluílas no Código Técnico da Edificación”, asegurou Fernández.

Polo tanto, con esta iniciativa aprobada, ínstase ao Ministerio de Fomento a realizar canto antes o Reglamento para a protección dos edificios fronte á exposición ao radón, que debe ser incorporado ao Código Técnico da Edificación (CTE) no Documento Básico HS de Salubridad, co fin de incorporar a normativa europea sobre a protección fronte ao radón, cuxo prazo finaliza a finais de febreiro de 2018.

Na súa intervención, a deputada do Partido Popular sinalou que “xa van pasos por diante” cando en realidade nin traspuxeron este normativa comunitaria que finaliza a finais de febreiro deste ano.

Ademais, aprobouse a posibilidade de convocar ás Comunidades Autónomas e á Federación Española de Municipios e Provincias (FEMP) para establecer liñas de colaboración.
