TINO CORDAL PÍDELLE CELERIDADE Á XUNTA PARA A APERTURA DO CENTRO DE DÍA

Somos Cambados

O concelleiro de Servizos Sociais Tino Cordal, reuniuse no día de hoxe co xerente do Consorcio Galego de Servizos de Igualdade e Benestar, Perfecto Rodríguez, na sede do consorcio en Compostela. A reunión solicitada polo edil de Somos Cambados, centrouse no proceso de adxudicación do Centro de Día e a resolución do mesmo o quedar deserta a súa licitación.

Segundo o concelleiro de Servizos Sociais, Sanidade e Terceira Idade, Tino Cordal, na reunión o ente que depende da Xunta de Galicia, comprometeuse a volver a sacar o anuncio de licitación antes de rematar esta semana, e no que xa non será condición expresa que o Centro de Día sexa xestionado por unha empresa que este cualificada como centro especial de emprego, pero si se volvera a solicitar os catro centros no mesmo proceso de licitación, xunto o Centro de Día de Cambados, tamén se licitaron no mesmo contrato os de Cuntis, Redondela e o Fogar Residencial de Redondela por 1,6 millóns de euros.

Tendo en conta que este tipo de procedemento administrativo non resulta rápido, podendo durar varios meses, dende o Concello pídenlle á Xunta que axilice os trámites pertinentes o máximo posible, inda que desta maneira as previsións para a apertura do Centro de Día vanse volver dilatar.

Segundo o concelleiro de Servizos Sociais, Sanidade e Terceira Idade, Tino Cordal, “xa temos a experiencia do procedemento de adxudicación do contrato de equipamento e amoblamento, que tardou máis de medio ano en ser unha realidade. Co cal, pensamos que o Consorcio Galego de Servizos de Igualdade e Benestar, dependente da Consellería de Política Social, non abrirá as instalacións situadas en San Tomé tan sedo. Parece máis probable que a apertura do Centro de Día non se realizará antes de comezos do verán.”, sinala Cordal.

“Dende o Concello cumprimos en todo momento o que nos pediu a Xunta. O Centro de Día non é noso senón deles. E queremos confiar na súa boa vontade para abrilo o antes posible pero a verdade é que xa están tardando incluso máis do que nos esperábamos”.

“Nós seguiremos facendo presión para que poñan o Centro de Día en funcionamento á maior brevidade posible. Somos conscientes do necesario que resulta para moitas familias cambadesas que teñen maiores con doenzas e enfermidades que precisan atención nun centro destas características, e que agora están sendo atendidos fóra de Cambados ou en establecementos privados. Por iso, non pararemos ata conseguilo”.
