Masiva mobilización en Santiago contra a nova Lei de Saúde de Feijóo que privatiza e afonda nos recortes á sanidade pública

Miles de persoas manifestáronse esta mañá en Compostela contra o proxecto de Lei de Saúde de Galicia que prepara o Goberno de Feijóo e en defensa dunha sanidade pública sen recortes que favorecen a privatización e o negocio empresarial.

Ao remate da mobilización, nunha praza da Quintana ateigada de xente, a plataforma SOS Sanidade Pública esixiu unha reunión urxente co presidente da Xunta coa fin de concretar a retirada deste proxecto de lei e concretar un plan de recuperación da sanidade pública revertendo os recortes dos últimos anos.

Á saída dunha das mobilizacións máis multitudinarias dos últimos anos, o voceiro de En Marea Luís Villares, en declaracións aos medios, dixo que “esta resposta masiva da cidadanía demostra que a xente, incluso aquela que votou o PP está farta das listas de espera, está farta dos colapsos de Urxencias e de que a deriven á privada . Non se resigna a que lle supriman as áreas sanitarias e que cando chegue ao ambulatorio non haxa médicos nin a que lle quiten os especialistas dos hopsitais comarcais”.

“A cidadanía que hoxe estamos aquí temos un desexo compartido, que é o duha sanidade publica que nos atenda pronto, con profesionais públicos e preto das nosas casas, cremos que temos dereito á saúde e que o PP non pode negarnos un dereito tan básico coma ese”, engadiu.

Con respecto ao debate da nova Lei de Saúde que terá lugar a vindeira semana no Parlamento, Villares sinalou que “a posición de En Marea está coas maiorías sociais e co dereito da cidadanía de Galicia de rexeitar masivamente esta política sanitaria”. Non queremos máis recortes, non queremos máis derivación á privada nin supresión das áreas sanitarias. Nós queremos sanidade pública e cerca da xente, porque é un dereito fundamental de todas e todos”, concluiu.
