Queremos que a Consellería faga estudos de que é o que lle está facendo mal á ameixa fina

A vicevoceira de En Marea Carmen Santos e mailo deputado Juan Merlo visitaron o porto de Testal (Noia) dende onde esixiron da Xunta actuacións inmediatas para que unha ría «cuns recursos marisqueiros de altísimo valor siga sendo referente a nivel mundial de produción de ameixa e berberecho autóctonos e non vexa mermadas as capturas polas agresións externas que sofre».

O grupo parlamentario En Marea trasladará ao pleno da semana que vén a necesidade de acometer o saneamento integral das rías galegas. “Xa o denunciamos na anterior campaña e seguiremos reclamándoo”, reivindicou Carmen Santos, que lembrou que “hai moitos postos de traballo de moitas familias que viven disto directa e indirectamente”.

“Seguimos con preocupación a falta de iniciativa por parte do goberno da Xunta ante a situación das rías e xa propuxemos en comisión un plan de saneamento integral das rías que o PP votou en contra, seguimos insistindo en que é necesario tomar medidas”, reclamou a vicevoceira de En Marea.

E engadiu que “as cotizacións son moito máis altas na nosa ameixa” e cualificou o descenso de “brutal”.

“Queremos que a Consellería faga estudos de que é o que lle está facendo mal á ameixa fina, o que sabemos e vemos todos os días nos bancos naturais é que cada ano hai menos”, sinalou Silva. “Non podemos deixar que a ameixa fina desapareza desta ría, pois é a que máis ingresos nos dá”.

Canto ao berberecho, o presidente de Plademar dixo que a campaña estaba indo mellor, pero “cremos que o prezo vai moi baixo, polo que solicitamos que a poxa fose on line, porque daría máis valor engadido que repercutiría directamente nos que traballamos no marisco”. Lembrou que esta experiencia piloto xa se puxo en marcha en lonxas coma a de Fisterra, coa satisfacción dos mariscadores que traballan alí. “Queremos que se amplíe a todos os portos da ría”.
