Moción para esixir que o Pazo de Meirás sexa do pobo

Somos Cambados

Somos Cambados levará a Pleno unha proposta para que o Concello de Cambados apoie a Sada na loita pola xestión pública de Meirás

O grupo municipal de Somos Cambados defenderá no Pleno ordinario do mes de agosto unha moción para reclamar a recuperación do Pazo de Meirás como espazo de  itularidade e uso públicos, e o desaloxo da Fundación Franco como xestora das visitas a este edificio declarado Ben de Interese Cultural (BIC). A proposta tamén solicita que sexa o Concello de Sada quen asuma esta tarefa.

Nesta liña, a moción pide que o Concello da Cambados se sume ás decisións adoptadas en Sada no pleno extraordinario do 12 de agosto, e dea apoio “dentro das súa competencias, a todas as iniciativas que se desenvolvan para garantir o cumprimento do acordado”. Nestes acordos, ínstase á Xunta de Galicia a:

• Permitir que o Concello de Sada xestione as visitas ao Pazo de Meirás.
• Evitar, por todos os medios dispoñibles, que sexa a Fundación Franco quen se ocupe de organizar as visitas.
• Esixir á familia Franco, propietaria do pazo, que cumpra co réxime de visitas obrigado pola Lei de Patrimonio Cultural de Galicia. Xa foi sancionada, coa máxima multa posible, por non respectar a normativa.
• Formalizar unha declaración institucional de condena expresa ante os comunicados emitidos pola Fundación Francisco Franco, nos que se fai apoloxía clara da ditadura, así como de apoio á memoria das vítimas do franquismo.

Memoria, xustiza, respecto, recoñecemento e reparación para as vítimas

“Tanto a Xunta de Galicia como o goberno do Estado deben dar o apoio institucional necesario a todas aquelas actuacións encamiñadas a recuperar o Pazo de Meirás para a titularidade e o uso públicos”, advirte o grupo de municipal de Somos Cambados, que recorda que “a razón democrática esixe que as vítimas obteñan memoria, xustiza, respecto, recoñecemento e reparación, e iso non terá lugar mentres non se poña fin ao espolio que significou a adquisición do pazo por medio da ameaza e a extorsión”.

No texto da moción tamén se lembra, do mesmo xeito, que tanto a Lei de Memoria Histórica como a vixente normativa estatal de fundacións deben ter como obxectivo común “tanto un maior recoñecemento das vítimas da represión no primeiro caso, como o impedimento legal para que entidades como a Francisco Franco poidan impunemente e mesmo ao amparo da legalidade democrática divulgar, louvar e difundir o terror franquista, no segundo”, expoñendo no texto que se sometera a votación no plenario que o grupo municipal de Somo considera “unha burla ao pobo galego e unha ignominia ás vítimas da barbarie franquista que un ben de interese cultural sexa xestionado pola Fundación que glorifica a un ditador sanguinario, que pasaría se o campo de concentración de Auschwitz o rexera unha Fundación Adolph Hitler? Pois ben, a Xunta ven de anunciar que será a Fundación Francisco Franco a que vai xestionar as visitas ó Pazo de Meirás. Visitas públicas a un espazo declarado ben de interese cultural, precisamente pola súa importancia no eido da memoria histórica.”

Por todo isto, dende SOMOS CAMBADOS declaran que “a Fundación Francisco Franco nin debería existir” cremos que debería ser ilegalizada, “nin ter nada que ver co Pazo de Meirás, que debe ser de dominio público.”
