Somos Cambados

– A deputada parlamentaria Paula Vázquez Verao, acompañada dos concelleiros Tino Cordal e Xurxo Charlín de Somos Cambados, visitaron as instalacións deste centro rematadas en 2015 e que continúan pechadas co conseguinte deterioro das mesmas


– Outra das visitas realizadas foi ao Centro de maiores de Cambados onde puideron comprobar as numerosas deficiencias do mesmo.
O grupo parlamentario de En Marea reclamará no Parlamento de Galicia á apertura do centro de día de Cambados. A deputada de En Marea, Paula Vázquez Verao, e os concelleiros de Somos Cambados, concelleiros Tino Cordal e Xurxo Charlín visitaron esta mañá o centro para comprobar a situación das instalacións. O grupo parlamentario ten presentado xa unha pregunta ao Goberno galego para que informe de se vai garantir a posta en funcionamento deste centro de día neste ano, dous anos despois do remate das obras, e cando se van licitar os concursos públicos necesarios para que arranque a súa actividade.

O 29 de xullo de 2010 a Conselleira de Traballo e Benestar, Beatriz Mato, anunciou a construción dun Centro de Día para persoas maiores en Cambados, cunhas corenta prazas, en terreos municipais. As obras, nas que se gastaron uns 800.000 euros de fondos autonómicos, non se iniciaron ata 2014, sendo o 9 de novembro de 2015 cando representantes da Xunta acoden a Cambados para certificar a realización do edificio, sen ter avisado ao Concello de Cambados. Tras infrutuosas preguntas por parte da Concellaría de Servizos Sociais, Sanidade e Terceira Idade do Concello de Cambados á Xunta, o 7 de decembro de 2015, a Xunta recomenda ao Concello de Cambados que se incorpore ao Consorcio Galego de Servizos de Igualdade e Benestar, o que o Concello acepta. Nos Orzamentos da Xunta para 2016, na partida para Cambados relativa ás persoas maiores e dependentes, a Xunta só consignou 12,99 euros.
En novembro de 2016, a Xunta comprométese a abrir o centro “o antes posible”, sinalando a data de marzo de 2017. En marzo de 2017, Xunta e Concello asinan un convenio para sacar a concurso a compra de material para o centro, achegando o Concello 20.000 €, para o cal a administración local dispón unha partida orzamentaria. Nos Orzamentos galegos deste ano si está incluída as partidas para a xestión e equipamento e mobles do Centro de Día de Cambados, pero, a inicios de maio de 2017 aínda non se produciu a licitación pública para ambos concursos.

A deputada parlamentaria de En Marea denunciou ademais a falla de concreción ao Concello de Cambados dun prazo para a apertura deste centro pese ás continuas peticións realizadas pola administración local. A non apertura do centro provocou xa certo deterioro das instalacións como puideron comprobar hoxe mesmo durante a visita. Por todo isto, En Marea esixirá á Xunta de Galicia que este centro de día arranque a súa actividade canto antes. O concelleiro Xurxo Charlín lamentou a total falla de preocupación por parte do Partido Popular pola veciñanza de Cambados como demostra a súa continua labor para obstaculizar da Xunta de Galicia á apertura deste centro fundamental para atender a importante demanda entre as veciños e veciñas. “É unha mágoa que o PP estea máis preocupado por Gobernar o Concello de Cambados que por atender as necesidades dos veciños e veciñas” lamentou o concelleiro de Somos Cambados.
Un centro de maiores no que cae o teito
A deputada parlamentaria Paula Vázquez Verao, Tino Cordal e Xurxo Charlín, visitaron tamén o centro de maiores onde puideron comprobar as numerosas deficiencias que presentan estas instalacións, chegando incluso a caer parte do falso teito.

Tanto Somos Cambados como o grupo parlamentario de En Marea reclamaron á Xunta de Galicia que arranxe de xeito inmediato as deficiencias do centro de maiores xa que supoñen un risco evidente para as usuarias e usuarios.
