Somos Cambados

O portavoz de Somos Cambados e concelleiro de Servizos Sociais, Sanidade e Terceira Idade, Tino Cordal, reuniuse esta semana co portavoz de En Marea no Parlamento galego, Luís Villares. Nesa xuntanza, Cordal trasladoulle a Villares a súa preocupación polo retraso na apertura do Centro de Día cambadés. O líder de En Marea comprometeuse a levar o asunto ao Parlamento galego.Dende a súa chegada ao goberno municipal, a posta en funcionamento do Centro de Día é unha das maiores preocupacións para Cordal. Antes de que remataran as obras, púxose en contacto en varias ocasións coa Xunta para interesarse por cando se podería proceder á súa apertura. A resposta por parte da administración autonómica non daba chegado, ata o punto que cando viñeron a Cambados para certificar a finalización do edificio, o 9 de novembro do 2015, non tiveron nin sequera a deferencia de avisar ao Concello.

A verdade é que existía algunha sospeita de que a Xunta non o ía poñer fácil, confirmada esta cando nos os orzamentos da Xunta para 2016, na partida para Cambados relativa ás persoas maiores e dependentes, o Partido Popular só destinou 12,99 euros. Unha cantidade, a todas luces, insuficiente para poñer en marcha o Centro de Día.

Na reunión que, por fin, se lle concedeu á Alcaldesa e a Cordal na Consellería de Política Social, o 7 de decembro de 2015, recomendóuselles que Cambados se incorporara ao Consorcio Galego de Servizos de Igualdade e Benestar (por certo, algo que o Partido Popular de Cambados nunca fixo, tendo nove anos para facelo), e díxoselles que o Concello tería que asumir unha terceira parte dos costes de cada usuario do Centro de Día.

Abal e Cordal aceptaron esas condicións da Xunta. Seis meses máis tarde, a Consellería de Política Social díxolles que tiñan que aportar ademais 20 mil euros para o equipamento e amoblamento do Centro. Algo que tamén aceptaron e dispuxeron unha partida orzamentaria municipal para tal efecto. Con esa finalidade, ambas partes asinaron en marzo un convenio. O Concello de Cambados cumpriu co que se comprometeu, e a Xunta de Galicia tamén debería facelo.

Nos orzamentos autonómicos de 2017, a Xunta incorporou finalmente unha partida para a xestión do Centro de Día cambadés e outra para o seu equipamento e amoblamento. Pero en Cambados séguese agardando polas licitacións públicas de ambos concursos.

A pregunta é evidente: cando ten pensado a Xunta de Galicia abrir o Centro de Día de Cambados? Precisamente esta cuestión formuloulla a prensa ao Conselleiro de Política Social, José Manuel Rey Varela, durante a súa visita á nosa comarca esta semana. A resposta foi o silencio. A mesma que obtén o Concello de Cambados cando chama, todas as semanas, a San Caetano.

A outra pregunta que se fai dende o goberno municipal é se o PP cambadés vai seguir botándolle a culpa ao cuadripartito de que o Centro de Día continúe pechado. Porque o paso do tempo e a inacción da Xunta ao respecto demostran que a falta de vontade política para abrir o Centro de Día parece residir exclusivamente, de maneira manifestamente clara, na banda do Partido Popular.
